Mahalakshmi Vrata also known as Varalaksmi Vratha is a one of the holiest day in Hinduism. Mahalakshmi Vrata is one of the most important festivals in South India. Varalaksmi Vratha is celebrated on the Friday before the full moon in the month of Sravana, a month in Hindu calendar. This festival is very popular among married ladies.
